Sort your cabinets

Case

You have the same problem placing new wine into the cabinets and shelfs of your wine cellar as all other wine collectors. You start very systematicly by placing the bottles orderly so that you easily might find them. Red wines together, white wines, Rieslings, or you choose countries and regions. Whatever you do, sooner or later you have to reorganize and shuffle the bottles around in a new way to make space for newcomers. How to get an overview where they are physically, and where you might have gaps for new wines? You have registered the location of the bottles in your Digital Wine Cellar. Can you use that?

What you do

There is a function which might be helpful. Choose “Wine Cabinets” from the menu in the upper left corner. What you see is a presentation of your physical wine cellar. You see the cabinets and shelfs, and you see where the different labels  are placed. What you see might be a bit confusing, since the demonstration wine cellar is extracted from a real Digital Wine Cellar. Therefore, the 33 different labels are spread over unnecessary many cabinets and shelfs. But you get the picture about what this digital representation of your physical wine cellar can do for you. Using the “Wine Cabinets” view, you can also enter the “Wine Details” view by just clicking on the label.
